Inspired by flickering flames, this two tone pendant features an elegant upper section which is complemented by elegant wire work in the setting which houses the gemstone, allowing for maximum light entry, showcasing the stone at its best.

Enthused by thoughts of the London Olympic Games and the iconic symbol of the ‘eternal’ flame which is lit by reflection of sunlight in Olympia Greece, and then travels by torch to London where it is kept lit throughout the Games.

18ct yellow and white gold featuring a v-prong set, 0.60ct, marquise faceted Tanzanite, accented with a flush set 0.0075ct white VS1 round brilliant cut Diamond. Suspended on a fixed 18ct yellow gold curb chain with trigger clasp.

The feature stone's intense orange hue reflects that often seen at the heart of a flame, the body represented by the highly polished and sinuous yellow gold lattice accented with coloured sapphires, which flicker in the light.

A Vortex expands outwards from its central core, its turbulent flow of kinetic energy causing expansion with angular momentum. The design of this bespoke pendant takes inspiration from this concept, coupled with imagery of stars, galaxies and interlocking shapes.
