British founder, creative director and Queen Elizabeth Craft scholar Lauren Elizabeth Tidd, launched Lauren Elizabeth Jewellery in 2011 having trained both as a Goldsmith (BA Hons) and certified Gemmologist (FGA & DGA) at the world-renowned University School of Jewellery in Birmingham, Great Britain.
With a lifetime enthusiasm for contemporary art and three-dimensional design, Lauren aspires to provide exclusive, timeless fine jewellery and accessories for design aware clientele. Her work skilfully combines traditional skills with cutting edge new technology and is motivated by a mélange of inspirations relating to architecture, sculpture, pattern, negative space and modern artwork.
Lauren thrives on the creation of the highest standard of wearable art, uniting considered use of precious metals and her passion for earths natural wonder; gemstones.
One-off inspirational pieces are often designed solely around unusual or unique gemstones that take centre stage in the surrounding sculptural artwork, where the creation of individual and stylistic statement pieces are realised.
Distinctive collections often integrate exciting gemstone accents and celebrate the marriage between the stone and encapsulating precious metal artwork. Her work is delicate yet has presence, executed to the highest standard of craftsmanship and creating a stunning visual impact.
Lauren works from her purpose built studio workshop and each piece is handcrafted in-house. Her work has been sold at exhibitions and art fairs across the United Kingdom and featured in publications and department stores including John Lewis.
